I am originally from Russia, I graduated from the University of Foreign Languages. I speak fluent French, English and Spanish. In Russia I worked as a guide and interpreter for French speaking delegations and tourists.
I have been living in Barcelona for more than 20 years. This beautiful, sunny and eternally bustling city has become my second home. It is one of the few cities in the world that absolutely everyone, or almost everyone, falls in love with and tries to come back here again.
There is everything for every taste: Barcelona and its history, architecture and arts, sports, gastronomy and 300 sunny days a year. There is the Mediterranean Sea and 4 km of beaches within the city, there are so many unusual celebrations, theater performances, festivals and all kinds of competitions!
You never get tired of admiring its landscapes – the joyful meeting of sun, sea and mountains, the emerald green of the pine forests and the blue of the sea!
I am passionate about architecture, art and history. All the history of Catalonia is reflected in its beautiful monuments, works of art, traditions and popular culture.
If desired, I organize visits to the high points of Catalan wine-growing, as well as gastronomic routes. All programs of visits are always developed according to the client’s requirements.
Barcelona is immensely popular tourist destination across the world, that makes the job of a professional guide very much in demand. I really love my profession, which gives me the opportunity to interact with all kinds of people. I successfully passed the official exam organized by the government of Catalonia, I was accredited as an official guide in Barcelona. This is a guarantee of my knowledge of history, art, architecture and modern life in the country where I work and live. I have been working as a tour guide for many years and I offer my tours in English, French, Russian and Spanish.
And last but not least, the Tourist Guide License is an official administrative authorization that allows to guide inside any of the monuments and museums of Barcelona & Catalonia such as Sagrada Familia, La Pedrera, the Cathedral, Pablo Picasso Museum and others. Only a licensed guide for the city of Barcelona has this right!
The license issued by the government of Catalonia attests to the professional training of the guide, as well as to the legality of the work. With an official guide you skip the lines to enter in museums , as a licensed guide in Barcelona and Catalonia I enter by presenting my ID card. This is a huge advantage that allows us to use our time efficiently.
